Prototype Cape from Raf Simons' Autumn-Winter 1998/1999 collection "Radioactivity". Although dark and elegant in it's own right, Raf's AW98/99 runway show in Paris never featured this cape. Raf's capes could only been seen in "Radioactivity" promotional photographs for the label. It wasn't until the following Autumn-Winter Season AW99/00 "Disorder-Incubation-Isolation" in which Raf began heavily experimenting with cloaks and capes on the runway. In other words, these were created by Raf as experimental precursors of what was to come. This heavy cotton cape makes a beautiful statement while simultaneously offering a little bit of Raf history.
Cape features 5-button diagonal closure across the right shoulder, with two button flip-up snap collar.
